About the Event
The Missouri Rehabilitation Association eastern chapter is pleased to partner with Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation, disability Determinations, and Missouri Rehabilitation Services for the Blind to offer a three part supervisor leadership training. The leadership curriculum is designed for early career supervisors and aspiring leaders.
This interactive curriculum provides multiple opportunities to refine and apply skills that will directly impact day-to-day supervisor operations, grow staff engagement and increase customer service.
Curriculum will be delivered in synchronous, asynchronous, and face to face formats. Participants will be asked to reflect on their leadership strengths, journal about their leadership style, read, work in small groups, develop a case study, and create an action plan to further enhance their leadership skills.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the curriculum participants will have:
- A deeper understanding of their personal leadership style by identifying strengths and areas of improvement.
- Improved leadership skills to effectively develop and guide an office in an ever changing environment.
- An understanding of the key concepts of employee engagement, evidence regarding the importance of an engaged workforce, and specific strategies that facilitate employee engagement.
- Developed a professional network to increase collaboration and consultation with other professionals.
