For thirteen years MRA Eastern Chapter has hosted an awards banquet to celebrate and honor a more inclusive and diverse community!
When: Friday, April 29, 2022. Doors open at 6:00pm. Dinner starts at 7pm
Where: Orlando’s, 2050 Dorsett Village Shopping Center

Award categories include:
The Consumer of the Year Award: Given to an individual
with a disability who has successfully overcome their
limitations to improve their independence.
The Community Service Award: Recognizes an individual
or group outside of the rehabilitation community who has
made a significant contribution towards meeting the needs
of the community.
The Employer of the Year Award: Recognizes an employer
in the community who has made a significant difference in
advancing the employment opportunities of individuals with
The Megan Piontek Memorial Award: Recognizes a graduate
student in the field of Rehabilitation who has demonstrated
exemplary initiative and service in the field.
The Support Staff Award: This award is for someone in your organization
who has shown exemplary service by supporting staff and/or candidates to
reach their employment goals. Examples of nominees would be support staff,
administrative staff, job coaches, and retention specialists.
The President Award: Recognizes an individual who goes
above and beyond in service to individuals with disabilities,
ensuring excellent service in achieving individual goals, to be
given at the President’s discretion.
